Let f be a function defined on  the domain D_f =C and f(z)=cosz  for z∈D_f  . Is f(z) a member  of C? Compute for example  f(2+6i).

z=x+yı,(x,y)∈R^2   cos z=cos x cosh y−ı sin x sinh y  sin (yı)=ı sinh y  cos (yı)=cosh y  .....
