pleaseexplain.V(x)=F(x)dx

What is V and F?    If they are just general fuctions, doesnt:  ((dV(x))/dx)=−(d/dx)∫F(x)dx  ∴(d/dx)V(x)=−F(x)  ???
WhatisVandF?Iftheyarejustgeneralfuctions,doesnt:dV(x)dx=ddxF(x)dxddxV(x)=F(x)???
