 7a)    slope of AB =((9−5)/(10−2))=(1/2)  eqn of AB:  y−5=(1/2)(x−2)  or 2y=x+8   ....(i)  as line through C is ⊥ to AB,  its slope is m_(CD) =−(1/m_(AB) )      = −2  slope of line through C is    y−2=−2(x−6)  or   2x+y=14   ....(ii)  2(i) gives:  4y=2x+16  2(i)+(ii) gives:  5y=30    ⇒ y=6 and x=4  hence pt. of intersection of lines  is (4,6) .
