\frac{17}{9} = \frac{2 x - 1}{5} we have to multiplicate by 9 \times 5 = 45

5 \times 17 = 9 \times (2 x - 1)

85 = 18 x - 9

94 = 18 x

x = \frac{94}{18} = \frac{47}{9} = 5 \frac{2}{9} = 5 . \overset{∙}{2}
