2 ∖ Calculate df (x, y) for x = 1, y = 0, dx = \frac{1}{2}

and dy = \frac{1}{4} if f (x, y) = \sqrt{x^{2} + y^{2}}

2 . df (x, y) = (δ_{x} f) dx + (δ_{y} f) dy = \frac{x}{\sqrt{x^{2} + y^{2}}} dx + \frac{y}{\sqrt{x^{2} + y^{2}}} dy

= 1 . \frac{1}{2} + 0 . \frac{1}{4} = \frac{1}{2} please check
