brackets first ×/ before +− 14/2×(3+4)=14/2×7=49 there′s no difference between ab and a×b if you want 2×(3+4) before the division you must write 14/(2×(3+4))
$$\mathrm{brackets}\:\mathrm{first} \\ $$$$×/\:\mathrm{before}\:+− \\ $$$$\mathrm{14}/\mathrm{2}×\left(\mathrm{3}+\mathrm{4}\right)=\mathrm{14}/\mathrm{2}×\mathrm{7}=\mathrm{49} \\ $$$$\mathrm{there}'\mathrm{s}\:\mathrm{no}\:\mathrm{difference}\:\mathrm{between}\:{ab}\:\mathrm{and}\:{a}×{b} \\ $$$$\mathrm{if}\:\mathrm{you}\:\mathrm{want}\:\mathrm{2}×\left(\mathrm{3}+\mathrm{4}\right)\:\mathrm{before}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{division} \\ $$$$\mathrm{you}\:\mathrm{must}\:\mathrm{write}\:\mathrm{14}/\left(\mathrm{2}×\left(\mathrm{3}+\mathrm{4}\right)\right) \\ $$
