1 true  2 true  2 is correct explaination for 1.

But answer is both are true but 2 is not  explanation of 1.
$$\mathrm{But}\:\mathrm{answer}\:\mathrm{is}\:\mathrm{both}\:\mathrm{are}\:\mathrm{true}\:\mathrm{but}\:\mathrm{2}\:\mathrm{is}\:\mathrm{not} \\ $$$$\mathrm{explanation}\:\mathrm{of}\:\mathrm{1}. \\ $$

log_x y is defined for x>0 and x≠1  and y>0.
$$\mathrm{log}_{{x}} {y}\:\mathrm{is}\:\mathrm{defined}\:\mathrm{for}\:{x}>\mathrm{0}\:\mathrm{and}\:{x}\neq\mathrm{1} \\ $$$$\mathrm{and}\:{y}>\mathrm{0}. \\ $$
