$$\mathrm{3}{x}+\mathrm{4}{y}=\mathrm{12}\:\mathrm{is}\:\mathrm{a}\:\mathrm{straight}\:\mathrm{line} \\ $$$${x}=\mathrm{0}\:\Rightarrow\:{y}=\mathrm{3} \\ $$$${y}=\mathrm{0}\:\Rightarrow\:{x}=\mathrm{4} \\ $$$$\mathrm{area}\:\mathrm{is}\:\frac{\mathrm{3}×\mathrm{4}}{\mathrm{2}}=\mathrm{6} \\ $$
