$$\frac{{x}}{\mathrm{8}}=\frac{\mathrm{3}}{{y}}=\frac{\mathrm{5}}{\mathrm{9}} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow{x}=\frac{\mathrm{5}×\mathrm{8}}{\mathrm{9}}=\frac{\mathrm{40}}{\mathrm{9}} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow{y}=\frac{\mathrm{9}×\mathrm{3}}{\mathrm{5}}=\frac{\mathrm{27}}{\mathrm{5}} \\ $$
