$$\mathrm{3}{x}=\mathrm{7}−\mathrm{1} \\ $$$$\mathrm{3}{x}=\mathrm{6} \\ $$$$\frac{\mathrm{3}{x}}{\mathrm{3}}=\frac{\mathrm{6}}{\mathrm{3}} \\ $$$${x}=\mathrm{2} \\ $$
