if two dice are tossed together what is probability of sim of number on the dice being an even number

Sum of two numbers is even if: either both numbers are even or both numbers are odd. Both even 3×3=9 Both odd 3×3=9 Fsvourable outcomes= 9+9=18 Total outcomes=6×6=36 possibility of even sum=((18)/(36))=(1/2)
