Inner circle radius is rsin θ. Width of ring is not clear from the picture

its rdθ
$${its}\:{rd}\theta \\ $$

π(rsin θ+rdθ)^2 −π(rsin θ)^2 =πr^2 (2sin θdθ+(dθ)^2 )
$$\pi\left({r}\mathrm{sin}\:\theta+{rd}\theta\right)^{\mathrm{2}} −\pi\left({r}\mathrm{sin}\:\theta\right)^{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$$$=\pi{r}^{\mathrm{2}} \left(\mathrm{2sin}\:\theta{d}\theta+\left({d}\theta\right)^{\mathrm{2}} \right) \\ $$
