1)circle radius=R 2)acute angle between chords:AB , CD=ϕ find: AP^2 +BP^2 +CP^2 +DP^2 . (in terms of: R and ϕ) trial case: when: ϕ=90^• ⇒AP^2 +BP^2 +CP^2 +DP^2 =4R^2

AP^2 +BP^2 +CP^2 +DP^2 is not constant for a given ϕ, so you can not express it in terms of R and ϕ. the case ϕ=90° is an exception. See examples:
AP2+BP2+CP2+DP2isnotconstantforagivenφ,soyoucannotexpressitintermsofRandφ.thecaseφ=90°isanexception.Seeexamples:

i think even in this question will not fetch unique answers, given φ,R, and k. Both chord lengths and φ and R are required.See Q.17963..
