x(n)=((n−4)/n)180° ∀n>4 for an n−side regular polygon For a regular pentagon (n=5): x(5)=((5−4)/5)180°=((180°)/5)=36°
$${x}\left({n}\right)=\frac{{n}−\mathrm{4}}{{n}}\mathrm{180}°\:\:\:\:\:\forall{n}>\mathrm{4} \\ $$$${for}\:{an}\:\:{n}−{side}\:{regular}\:{polygon} \\ $$$$ \\ $$$${For}\:{a}\:{regular}\:{pentagon}\:\left({n}=\mathrm{5}\right): \\ $$$${x}\left(\mathrm{5}\right)=\frac{\mathrm{5}−\mathrm{4}}{\mathrm{5}}\mathrm{180}°=\frac{\mathrm{180}°}{\mathrm{5}}=\mathrm{36}° \\ $$
