Because A and B mutually exclusive, then  P (A ∩ B) = 0  and  P (A ∪ B) = 1    P (A ∪ B) = P (A) + P (B) − P (A ∩ B)           1 = (3/7) + P (B) − 0  P (B) = (4/7)
