I thought it this way Consider placing one queen in each file. The queens which would create the most problem would be those in the middle ⇒ i need to place them in such a way that their effect is minimized ⇒ placing them at the edeges and then used hit and trial method.
$${I}\:{thought}\:{it}\:{this}\:{way} \\ $$$${Consider}\:{placing}\:{one}\:{queen}\:{in}\:{each} \\ $$$${file}. \\ $$$${The}\:{queens}\:{which}\:{would}\:{create}\: \\ $$$${the}\:{most}\:{problem}\:{would}\:{be}\:{those} \\ $$$${in}\:{the}\:{middle}\:\Rightarrow\:{i}\:{need}\:{to}\:{place} \\ $$$${them}\:{in}\:{such}\:{a}\:{way}\:{that}\:{their}\:{effect} \\ $$$${is}\:{minimized}\:\Rightarrow\:{placing}\:{them}\:{at}\: \\ $$$${the}\:{edeges}\:{and}\:{then}\:{used}\:{hit}\:{and} \\ $$$${trial}\:{method}. \\ $$
