$${I}\:{think}\:{the}\:{force}\:{component}\:{mg}\:\mathrm{sin}\:\theta \\ $$$${should}\:{point}\:{to}\:{the}\:{center}\:{of}\:{circle}, \\ $$$${that}\:{means}\:\mathrm{sin}\:\theta=\frac{{r}}{{R}},\:{as}\:{the}\:{diagram} \\ $$$${shows}. \\ $$
