Find the circumradius R of the  three circles (of radii a,b, c) in  terms of a,b .  Also given c=((a+b)/2) .

it′s not always possible. the circumcircle  can be a straight line or a circle touching  the three given circles from ourside without  including them. just imagine a getting smaller  in your picture
$$\mathrm{it}'\mathrm{s}\:\mathrm{not}\:\mathrm{always}\:\mathrm{possible}.\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{circumcircle} \\ $$$$\mathrm{can}\:\mathrm{be}\:\mathrm{a}\:\mathrm{straight}\:\mathrm{line}\:\mathrm{or}\:\mathrm{a}\:\mathrm{circle}\:\mathrm{touching} \\ $$$$\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{three}\:\mathrm{given}\:\mathrm{circles}\:\mathrm{from}\:\mathrm{ourside}\:\mathrm{without} \\ $$$$\mathrm{including}\:\mathrm{them}.\:\mathrm{just}\:\mathrm{imagine}\:{a}\:\mathrm{getting}\:\mathrm{smaller} \\ $$$$\mathrm{in}\:\mathrm{your}\:\mathrm{picture} \\ $$
