alternative way: let area of APMQA=x ((AQ)/(QB))=((3+x)/(4+2))=((3+x)/6) ((AP)/(PO))=((2+x)/(4+3))=((2+x)/7) (Δ_(AMQ) /2)=((AQ)/(QB))=((3+x)/6) ⇒Δ_(AMQ) =((3+x)/3) (Δ_(AMP) /3)=((AP)/(PO))=((2+x)/7) ⇒Δ_(AMP) =((3(2+x))/7) Δ_(AMP) +Δ_(AMQ) =x ⇒((3(2+x))/7)+((3+x)/3)=x ⇒9(2+x)+7(3+x)=21x ⇒5x=39 ⇒x=39/5
