a=73(5/7), b=31(2/7)  a^2 +2ab+b^2 −25  =(a+b)^2 −(5)^2   =(a+b−5)(a+b+5)  =(73(5/7)+31(2/7)−5)(73(5/7)+31(2/7)+5)  =(105−5)(105+5)  =(100)(110)  =11000
$${a}=\mathrm{73}\frac{\mathrm{5}}{\mathrm{7}},\:{b}=\mathrm{31}\frac{\mathrm{2}}{\mathrm{7}} \\ $$$${a}^{\mathrm{2}} +\mathrm{2}{ab}+{b}^{\mathrm{2}} −\mathrm{25} \\ $$$$=\left({a}+{b}\right)^{\mathrm{2}} −\left(\mathrm{5}\right)^{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$$$=\left({a}+{b}−\mathrm{5}\right)\left({a}+{b}+\mathrm{5}\right) \\ $$$$=\left(\mathrm{73}\frac{\mathrm{5}}{\mathrm{7}}+\mathrm{31}\frac{\mathrm{2}}{\mathrm{7}}−\mathrm{5}\right)\left(\mathrm{73}\frac{\mathrm{5}}{\mathrm{7}}+\mathrm{31}\frac{\mathrm{2}}{\mathrm{7}}+\mathrm{5}\right) \\ $$$$=\left(\mathrm{105}−\mathrm{5}\right)\left(\mathrm{105}+\mathrm{5}\right) \\ $$$$=\left(\mathrm{100}\right)\left(\mathrm{110}\right) \\ $$$$=\mathrm{11000} \\ $$
