I think it should ve a^2 +b^2 =30 because then ((ab)/3)=−3 but with tbe given equations we get values different from each other

a−b=±4(√3) a^2 +a−(30±4(√3))=0 a=((−1±(√(121±16(√3))))/2) b=((−1±((√(121±16(√3)))±8(√3)))/2) ......
$${a}−{b}=\pm\mathrm{4}\sqrt{\mathrm{3}} \\ $$$${a}^{\mathrm{2}} +{a}−\left(\mathrm{30}\pm\mathrm{4}\sqrt{\mathrm{3}}\right)=\mathrm{0} \\ $$$${a}=\frac{−\mathrm{1}\pm\sqrt{\mathrm{121}\pm\mathrm{16}\sqrt{\mathrm{3}}}}{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$$${b}=\frac{−\mathrm{1}\pm\left(\sqrt{\mathrm{121}\pm\mathrm{16}\sqrt{\mathrm{3}}}\pm\mathrm{8}\sqrt{\mathrm{3}}\right)}{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$$$…… \\ $$
