40x+60y = max  x+y=10 ⇒ y=10−x  x≥2∧y≥2  x≥2∧10−x≥2 ⇔ 2≤x≤8  40x+60(10−x)=600−20x  ⇒ maximum at x=2∧y=8

we do not need this info  there′s no limitation how much money she  can spend
