$${a},{b},{c}\:{can}\:{be}\:{negative}.\:{but}\:{since}\:{both} \\ $$$${the}\:{function}\:{and}\:{the}\:{constraint}\:{are} \\ $$$${symmetric}\:{for}\:{a},{b}\:{and}\:{c},\:{the}\:{extrem} \\ $$$${value}\:{of}\:{the}\:{function}\:{must}\:{lie}\:{on} \\ $$$${the}\:{symmetry}\:{axis},\:{i}.{e}.\:{a}={b}={c}. \\ $$
