MV+mv=15m−10M                    =15×0.5−10×0.75=0  ⇒   0.75V+0.5v=0  or      3V=−2v   ...(i)  further  vel. of sep=e×vel. of app  ⇒V−v=0.8(15+10) = 20    ...(ii)  using (i) in (ii):       −(2/3)v−v=20  ⇒     v=−12m/s    V=−(2/3)v =−(2/3)×(−12) =8m/s .
MV+mv=15m10M=15×0.510×0.75=00.75V+0.5v=0or3V=2v(i)furthervel.ofsep=e×vel.ofappVv=0.8(15+10)=20(ii)using(i)in(ii):23vv=20v=12m/sV=23v=23×(12)=8m/s.
