y=(1/((x−1)^2 )) defined for x≠1  x=1±(1/( (√y))) defined for y>0 = range
$${y}=\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\left({x}−\mathrm{1}\right)^{\mathrm{2}} }\:\mathrm{defined}\:\mathrm{for}\:{x}\neq\mathrm{1} \\ $$$${x}=\mathrm{1}\pm\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\:\sqrt{{y}}}\:\mathrm{defined}\:\mathrm{for}\:{y}>\mathrm{0}\:=\:\mathrm{range} \\ $$
