let x be the number  (x/3)−(x/5)=4  ((2x)/(15))=4  ⇒x=30
$${let}\:{x}\:{be}\:{the}\:{number} \\ $$$$\frac{{x}}{\mathrm{3}}−\frac{{x}}{\mathrm{5}}=\mathrm{4} \\ $$$$\frac{\mathrm{2}{x}}{\mathrm{15}}=\mathrm{4} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow{x}=\mathrm{30} \\ $$
