(x−a)(x−b)=x^2 +px+q x^2 −(a+b)x+ab=x^2 +px+q comparing both sides −(a+b)=p ab=q
(xa)(xb)=x2+px+qx2(a+b)x+ab=x2+px+qcomparingbothsides(a+b)=pab=q
