last term of LHS is a^x   last term of RHS is a^7   ⇒x=7
$${last}\:{term}\:{of}\:{LHS}\:{is}\:{a}^{{x}} \\ $$$${last}\:{term}\:{of}\:{RHS}\:{is}\:{a}^{\mathrm{7}} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow{x}=\mathrm{7} \\ $$
