R=radius  a=width of rectangle  4^2 −a^2 =a(2R−a)  ⇒Ra=(4^2 /2)  area of rectangle=Ra=(4^2 /2)=8
$${R}={radius} \\ $$$${a}={width}\:{of}\:{rectangle} \\ $$$$\mathrm{4}^{\mathrm{2}} −{a}^{\mathrm{2}} ={a}\left(\mathrm{2}{R}−{a}\right) \\ $$$$\Rightarrow{Ra}=\frac{\mathrm{4}^{\mathrm{2}} }{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$$${area}\:{of}\:{rectangle}={Ra}=\frac{\mathrm{4}^{\mathrm{2}} }{\mathrm{2}}=\mathrm{8} \\ $$
