x=(√5)−2  ,  x+(1/x)=?  (1/x)=(1/( (√5)−2))=(1/( (√5)−2))∙(((√5) +2)/( (√5) +2))        =(((√5) +2)/(5−4))=(√5) +2  x+(1/x)=((√5) −2)+((√5) +2)=2(√5)
$${x}=\sqrt{\mathrm{5}}−\mathrm{2}\:\:,\:\:{x}+\frac{\mathrm{1}}{{x}}=? \\ $$$$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{{x}}=\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\:\sqrt{\mathrm{5}}−\mathrm{2}}=\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\:\sqrt{\mathrm{5}}−\mathrm{2}}\centerdot\frac{\sqrt{\mathrm{5}}\:+\mathrm{2}}{\:\sqrt{\mathrm{5}}\:+\mathrm{2}} \\ $$$$\:\:\:\:\:\:=\frac{\sqrt{\mathrm{5}}\:+\mathrm{2}}{\mathrm{5}−\mathrm{4}}=\sqrt{\mathrm{5}}\:+\mathrm{2} \\ $$$${x}+\frac{\mathrm{1}}{{x}}=\left(\sqrt{\mathrm{5}}\:−\mathrm{2}\right)+\left(\sqrt{\mathrm{5}}\:+\mathrm{2}\right)=\mathrm{2}\sqrt{\mathrm{5}}\: \\ $$
