If \frac{1 + x}{\sqrt{3}} = 3 find x + \frac{1}{x} - 1 = ?

x = - 1 + 3 \sqrt{3} \Rightarrow \frac{1}{x} = \frac{1 + 3 \sqrt{3}}{26} \Rightarrow x + \frac{1}{x} - 1 = \frac{- 51 + 81 \sqrt{3}}{26}
