PB^2 +PC^2 =PA^2 +PD^2 24^2 +20^2 =15^2 +PD^2 ⇒PD=(√(24^2 +20^2 −15^2 )) =(√(576+175)) =(√(751))=27.04cm(approx)
$${PB}^{\mathrm{2}} +{PC}^{\mathrm{2}} ={PA}^{\mathrm{2}} +{PD}^{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$$$\mathrm{24}^{\mathrm{2}} +\mathrm{20}^{\mathrm{2}} =\mathrm{15}^{\mathrm{2}} +{PD}^{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow{PD}=\sqrt{\mathrm{24}^{\mathrm{2}} +\mathrm{20}^{\mathrm{2}} −\mathrm{15}^{\mathrm{2}} } \\ $$$$=\sqrt{\mathrm{576}+\mathrm{175}} \\ $$$$=\sqrt{\mathrm{751}}=\mathrm{27}.\mathrm{04}{cm}\left({approx}\right) \\ $$
