If (√(a−(√(a−(√(a−...)))))) converges, then (√(a−x))=x ⇒x^2 +x−a=0⇒x=((−1+_− (√(1+4a)))/2)
Ifa−a−a−…converges,thena−x=x⇒x2+x−a=0⇒x=−1+−1+4a2
