A=B due to symmetry  A+B=((area of rectangle)/2)=((20×10)/2)=100  ⇒A=((100)/2)=50 cm^2
$${A}={B}\:{due}\:{to}\:{symmetry} \\ $$$${A}+{B}=\frac{{area}\:{of}\:{rectangle}}{\mathrm{2}}=\frac{\mathrm{20}×\mathrm{10}}{\mathrm{2}}=\mathrm{100} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow{A}=\frac{\mathrm{100}}{\mathrm{2}}=\mathrm{50}\:{cm}^{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$
