the word of atom is meant no dividable  however atom is dividable, why we  should use the atom word nowadays?

The word atom was proposed by  Democritus, ancient greek philosopher  (see wikipedia).  You can divide an atom of (say)   potassium by extracting some electrons   or protons. Then you have not still  potassium, you have smth else.  So, atom is the least part of a   material keeping the qualities of the  given material.  atom: from greek α^� τoμo, which comes  from ′α′ privative + τoμη^�  (cut),  non ′cuttable′.
