for example I say Bob is born in  1900s, there the symbol of (s) means  century. what kind of word it taken  from?

It′s not a symbol at all, it simply omes from  spoken language. It′s a plural:  “The nineteen−hundreds” = “the 1900s”.  To say “Bob is born in 1900s” is wrong, he  was either born in 1900 (exact year) or in  the 1900s (some year between 1900 and  1999).
