1.  CH_3 CH_2 MgCl →_(dil HCl)  CH_3 CH_2 CH_2 CH_3   2. CH_3 CH_2 CH_2 CH_2 OH→_(conc H_2 SO_4 )  CH_3 CH_2 CH=CH_2  (using Al_2 O_3 also works)  3.  CH_3 CH_2 CH_2 OH →_(Al_2 O_3 /heat)  CH_3 CH=CH_2
