If the area of the square is   144m^2 .  Find the radius of the circle.  I got     6(√2) ,    is it correct?
$$\mathrm{If}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{area}\:\mathrm{of}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{square}\:\mathrm{is}\:\:\:\mathrm{144m}^{\mathrm{2}} .\:\:\mathrm{Find}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{radius}\:\mathrm{of}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{circle}. \\ $$$$\mathrm{I}\:\mathrm{got}\:\:\:\:\:\mathrm{6}\sqrt{\mathrm{2}}\:,\:\:\:\:\mathrm{is}\:\mathrm{it}\:\mathrm{correct}? \\ $$

yes because D=(√(12^2 +12^2 ))=(√(288))  D=12(√2)  ;  R=(D/2) ⇒ R=6(√2)...
$${yes}\:{because}\:{D}=\sqrt{\mathrm{12}^{\mathrm{2}} +\mathrm{12}^{\mathrm{2}} }=\sqrt{\mathrm{288}} \\ $$$${D}=\mathrm{12}\sqrt{\mathrm{2}}\:\:;\:\:{R}=\frac{{D}}{\mathrm{2}}\:\Rightarrow\:{R}=\mathrm{6}\sqrt{\mathrm{2}}… \\ $$
