((x m)/(6 m))=((5 cm)/(8 cm)) ⇒x=((30)/8)=3.75 m the distance must be at least 3.75m.
$$\frac{{x}\:{m}}{\mathrm{6}\:{m}}=\frac{\mathrm{5}\:{cm}}{\mathrm{8}\:{cm}} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow{x}=\frac{\mathrm{30}}{\mathrm{8}}=\mathrm{3}.\mathrm{75}\:{m} \\ $$$${the}\:{distance}\:{must}\:{be}\:{at}\:{least}\:\mathrm{3}.\mathrm{75}{m}. \\ $$
