(3+(√8))(3−(√8))=1  3−(√8) = (1/(3+(√8)))   ⇒((√(3+(√8))))^x  + ((√(3−(√8))))^x  =  (3+(√8))^(x/2) + (3+(√8))^(−(x/2))  = 8  set  (3+(√8))^(x/2)  = t ,t >0  t + (1/t) = 6 ⇒t^2 −6t+1 =0  t = ((6 ± (√(32)))/2) = 3±2(√2)    { (((3+(√8))^(x/2)  = 3+2(√2) , x = 2)),(((3+(√8))^(x/2) =3−2(√2) = (3+(√8))^(−1) , x=−2)) :}
