−∞ lim_(x→0^− ) (1/x)=−∞
$$−\infty \\ $$$$\underset{{x}\rightarrow\mathrm{0}^{−} } {\mathrm{lim}}\frac{\mathrm{1}}{{x}}=−\infty \\ $$
