option 2−3. x^3 −4x^2 −x+4= (x−1)(x^2 −3x−4) ⇒ L_(x→4) t_ = x−1 ⇒4−1=3★
$${option}\:\mathrm{2}−\mathrm{3}. \\ $$$${x}^{\mathrm{3}} −\mathrm{4}{x}^{\mathrm{2}} −{x}+\mathrm{4}=\:\left({x}−\mathrm{1}\right)\left({x}^{\mathrm{2}} −\mathrm{3}{x}−\mathrm{4}\right) \\ $$$$\Rightarrow\:\underset{{x}\rightarrow\mathrm{4}} {{L}}\underset{} {{t}}=\:{x}−\mathrm{1}\: \\ $$$$\Rightarrow\mathrm{4}−\mathrm{1}=\mathrm{3}\bigstar \\ $$
