Prove or disprove that , as time goes by,  the influence of the past on the   present diminishes.   (I met this idea in an informal  analysis of the origins of equilibrium   probabilities found for the transition  matrix of a Markov chain scenario.)

I′m not sure I understand this question.  If you mean to say that as time goes on,  Time feels as though it moves faster is becsuse:  Day 1 of life = 100% of life  day 2 = 50%  day 3 = 33.33%  etc.    This is possibly 100% unrelated to your  post because I do not understand
