$${B}\:{gives}\:=\mathrm{5}−\frac{\mathrm{8}}{\mathrm{3}}=\frac{\mathrm{7}}{\mathrm{3}} \\ $$$${Cgives}=\mathrm{3}−\frac{\mathrm{8}}{\mathrm{3}}=\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{3}} \\ $$$$\therefore{Ratio}=\frac{\mathrm{7}}{\mathrm{3}}:\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{3}}=\mathrm{7}:\mathrm{1} \\ $$$$\therefore{B}\:{share}=\frac{\mathrm{7}}{\mathrm{8}}×\mathrm{8}=\mathrm{7}{bucks} \\ $$$${C}'{s}\:{share}=\mathrm{8}−\mathrm{7}=\mathrm{1}{buck} \\ $$$$\therefore{C}\:{will}\:{give}\:{more}\:\mathrm{2}{bucks}\:{to}\:{B} \\ $$
