If z=xy−7x+4y, evaluate (∂z/(∂x )) and (∂z/∂y) .
$$\mathrm{If}\:\mathrm{z}=\mathrm{xy}−\mathrm{7x}+\mathrm{4y},\:\:\:\mathrm{evaluate}\:\frac{\partial\mathrm{z}}{\partial\mathrm{x}\:}\:\mathrm{and}\:\frac{\partial\mathrm{z}}{\partial\mathrm{y}} \\ $$$$ \\ $$$$. \\ $$$$ \\ $$

(∂z/∂x)=y−7, (∂z/∂y)=x+4
$$\frac{\partial\mathrm{z}}{\partial\mathrm{x}}=\mathrm{y}−\mathrm{7},\:\:\frac{\partial\mathrm{z}}{\partial\mathrm{y}}=\mathrm{x}+\mathrm{4} \\ $$
