(3/8)<(a/b)<(2/5)  ((3b)/8)<a<((2b)/5)  ⌊((3b)/8)⌋+1≤a≤⌈((2b)/5)⌉−1  ⌊((3b)/8)⌋+1≤⌈((2b)/5)⌉−1  ⌈((2b)/5)⌉−⌊((3b)/8)⌋≥2  ⇒(a/b)=(5/(13)),(7/(18)),(8/(21)),(9/(23)),((11)/(28)),((11)/(29)),((12)/(31)),...  (b−a)_(min) =13−5=8
