Dear Sir, i′m just wondering is there a unique solution for F_2 and 𝛂 if : the resultant of F_1 and F_2 has to be 900 N (also vertical) when F_1 is 500 N. i just want to hear your opion Sir. Please don′t give me the solution first. in my opinion this question has no a unique solution. what do you say, Sir ??? Please

if the resultant of F_1 and F_2 is given, in size (900 N) and in direction (vertical), then there must be an unique F_2 , both in size and in direction. F_1 ^→ +F_2 ^→ =R^→ ⇒F_2 ^→ =R^→ −F_1 ^→ , this is unique.
