Q1) n(A∪B)=n(A)+n(B)−n(A∩B)                                = 28+32−10=50
$$\left.\mathrm{Q1}\right)\:\mathrm{n}\left(\mathrm{A}\cup\mathrm{B}\right)=\mathrm{n}\left(\mathrm{A}\right)+\mathrm{n}\left(\mathrm{B}\right)−\mathrm{n}\left(\mathrm{A}\cap\mathrm{B}\right) \\ $$$$\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:=\:\mathrm{28}+\mathrm{32}−\mathrm{10}=\mathrm{50} \\ $$

Q2)  n(A∩B)=n(A)+n(B)−n(A∩B)                      = 8+15−18=5
$$\left.{Q}\mathrm{2}\right)\:\:{n}\left({A}\cap{B}\right)={n}\left({A}\right)+{n}\left({B}\right)−{n}\left({A}\cap{B}\right) \\ $$$$\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:\:=\:\mathrm{8}+\mathrm{15}−\mathrm{18}=\mathrm{5} \\ $$

n(P∪M)=n(P)+n(M)−n(P∩M)  20   = n(P)+12−4  n(P)=12
$${n}\left({P}\cup{M}\right)={n}\left({P}\right)+{n}\left({M}\right)−{n}\left({P}\cap{M}\right) \\ $$$$\mathrm{20}\:\:\:=\:{n}\left({P}\right)+\mathrm{12}−\mathrm{4} \\ $$$${n}\left({P}\right)=\mathrm{12} \\ $$

Q3.  n(M∪P)=20, n(M)=12, n(M∩P)=4  n(M∪P)=n(M)+n(P)−n(M∩P)    20=12+n(P)−4 ⇒ n(P)=12
