if you meant the triangles of area x: same height, same base ⇒same area
$$\mathrm{if}\:\mathrm{you}\:\mathrm{meant}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{triangles}\:\mathrm{of}\:\mathrm{area}\:\mathrm{x}: \\ $$$$\:\mathrm{same}\:\mathrm{height},\:\mathrm{same}\:\mathrm{base}\:\Rightarrow\mathrm{same}\:\mathrm{area} \\ $$

x^2  = 2∙8  x = 4  Rectangle area = 2(4 + 8) = 24  Yellow = 24 − (6 +8 +2) = 8u^2
$${x}^{\mathrm{2}} \:=\:\mathrm{2}\centerdot\mathrm{8} \\ $$$${x}\:=\:\mathrm{4} \\ $$$${Rectangle}\:{area}\:=\:\mathrm{2}\left(\mathrm{4}\:+\:\mathrm{8}\right)\:=\:\mathrm{24} \\ $$$${Yellow}\:=\:\mathrm{24}\:−\:\left(\mathrm{6}\:+\mathrm{8}\:+\mathrm{2}\right)\:=\:\mathrm{8}{u}^{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$
