when cab catch bus that both cover same distance d_(cab) =(1/2)×2×t^2 d_(bus) =30(t+5) t^2 =30t+150 t^2 −30t−150=0 t^2 −2×t×15+225=150+225 (t−15)^2 =375 t=15+5(√(15)) t≈34.36sec d_(cab) =t^2 d_(cab) ≈1180.61 meter
